The 29th match of IPL 2020 proved to be a ray of light in dismay for Chennai Super Kings after their unsatisfactory performance this season. They won the battle against Sun Risers Hyderabad by 20 runs riveting the audience of the charm and grace that still resides in them at Dubai International Stadium. The game was strategically amazing, setting the field on yellow fire by the Yellow Army.

Ambati Rayudu, following the league, forced 5 boundaries hitting enormous 41 off 34 balls. Later Ravindar Jadeja fitted the scores in frame of expectations of loyal supporters by hammering 25 runs off 10 balls contributing to achieve 167 runs landmark. He was crowned as Man of the match. S Curran stole the applause by hitting 31 off 21 balls.

Karn Sharma and Dwayne Bravo with their astounding bowling dismissed two wickets each smashing the Orange Army. Curran, Jadeja and Thakur added 1 wicket each to the lot making the game more interesting and heart throbbing. Although SRH wasn't able to pull up yesterday, Kane Williamson smashed a wonderful 57 off 39 balls deserving an honorable mention.

CSK Skipper MS Dhoni finally sensed a sigh of relief after consecutive, appreciating the team efforts and improvements witnessed in batting stats. He felt the score was at par and emphasized on team efforts. He said "Ultimately what really matters is you getting two points. What T20s have shown is that there are a few games that don't go your way and then there are some that go your way even when you haven't earned it,” in the post match analysis.
