The 47th match of IPL was undoubtedly in the court of Sun Risers Hyderabad after their remarkable batting last night, instilling a spirit of triumph among fans. Delhi Capitals, being a top position holder, it was difficult to gulp the marginal defeat of the team. SRH excelled in both the departments bounding Delhi to score beyond 131 in a 200+ run chase.

The match initiated with Delhi Capitals winning the toss and deciding to bowl in Dubai International Stadium. Sun Risers Hyderabad batted first posting a marvelous score of 219 on the scoreboard. The 220 run chase for Delhi was quite difficult but fans had faith in the team due to their impeccable representation in the tournament. But the night didn't belong to Delhi after spell bound hits and deliveries by Orange Army.

The batting performed by SRH was commendable. The player of the Match Wriddhiman Saha smashed 87 off 45 balls with power packed boundary hits, comprising 12 fours and 2 sixes. His efforts laid the foundations of top notch score achieved by the team. Captain David Warner pulled up 66 runs off 34 balls. The partnership paid off the efforts put in by the players. Manish Pandey slammed 44 runs of 31 balls. Their performance snatched the win from DC.

Rashid Khan emerged as the highest wicket taker, knocking off 3 wickets. The bowling of SRH has been appreciated in a long while due to phenomenal deliveries. T Natarajan and Sandeep Sharma took 2 wickets each. Finally, Jason Holder, Nadeem and V Shankar finished off this trend by taking 1 wicket each bundling Delhi Capitals on 131 runs in 19 overs. Rashid Khan in the post match analysis said “The balls came out good and we won the game most importantly. More than wickets, I focus on economical bowling. Dots balls actually help us to do a lot better."
