IPL 2020 RCB V/S KKR: Kolkata Knight Riders' worst performance! RCB won by 8 wickets

RCB defeated KKR by 8 wickets

The 39th match of IPL didn't give time to the audience for contemplation or prediction of yesterday's winner as it was clear on a broader picture that no power beneath the earth could snatch victory from Royal Challengers Bangalore. Fans were really disappointed after this effortless and senile game without enthusiasm from Kolkata's side. This was quite unacceptable and unexpected from KKR, for the supporters who were rooting for them.

The start of battle announced KKR winning the toss. They chose to bat and posted an all time low of 84 runs on loss of 8 wickets in this season. The game lost the thrill and magic to unravel after such an easy run chase. Morgan managed to collect 30 runs off 34 balls but that didn't pull the other end of the string. The score lacked fierceness, challenge and a considerable attempt to win. Fugerson however, managed to uproot a wicket in the second inning but that was too late to shine in darkness. The Royals finally made it to second spot on the points table.

While running behind the established target Royal Challengers Bangalore was quite appeased with the score of KKR and headed for a smooth play. In a matter of 13.3 overs they crossed the finish line defeating Kolkata without any juggle for the win. Mohammad Siraj emerged as the highest wicket taker for the match, dismissing 3 wickets of Rahul Tripathi, Nitish Rana and Tom Banton back to the pavilion surrendering only 8 runs. Other players didn't have a lot to piece together. They bundled up the score in minimum overs .

Paddikal(25 off 17), Finch (16 off 21), Gurkeerat Singh (21 off 26) and Virat Kohli (18 off 17) made the necessary contributions to get through this. Mohammad Siraj was grateful to Allah for their win and later he thanked Virat Kohli for his match winning spell against KKR. He said "We weren't expecting me to open the bowling gates but soon Virat Bhai came and handed me the ball, saying Miyan ready ho jaao. He wanted me to open which indeed turned out to be a good decision."

After such highs and lows to experience, get ready to witness tonight's match between Rajasthan Royals and Sun Risers Hyderabad at 7:30 PM.
