Several legendary players test positive one after the other


IPL 2021 has been suspended till further notice due to rising coronavirus increasing cases, according to Vice-President BCCI Rajeev Shukla to ANI. The BCCI postponed IPL for a week after the news of corona infection in players playing IPL came to the fore. After the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team, presently the players of the Hyderabad team (SRH) have also been hit by Corona. With the Hyderabad player being Corona positive, the whole team has gone to Isolation.

Earlier, KKR's Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier were found to be corona positive. On the other hand, the support staff of Chennai Super kings also became Corona positive. In such a case, the BCCI has postponed the IPL for some moment with immediate effect. Today’s match is also postponed. The IPL will also not happen. The remaining decision will be made next week.

Earlier, the BCCI had considered rescheduling the match after the players became active, but postponed the IPL for a week after Amit Mishra of Delhi Capitals and a player from Hyderabad were corona positive. Although it was decided earlier that all the matches of the IPL will be shifted to Mumbai, the cases of corona infection have increased rapidly. At this time, the IPL tournament was being held in Delhi and Ahmedabad.
