J&K: Migrant labourer from Bihar killed by terrorists

A labourer hailing from Bihar was shot dead by terrorists in J&K…

Another dastardly act of terrorism has broken out in Jammu and Kashmir as a labourer hailing from Bihar has been brutally shot by terrorists. The killing took place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district on the intervening night of August 11th and August 12th. The deceased citizen hailed from Bihar and has been identified as Mohammad Amrez. Late migrant labourer Amrez was a resident of Bihar’s Madhepura district.

Shedding the light on the incident, Kashmir Zone police took it to Twitter to reveal the details of the case as they said, “During the intervening night #terrorists fired upon and injured one outside labourer Mohammad Amrez who is the son of Mohammad Jalil and resident of Madhepura Besarh #Bihar at the Soadnara Sumbal in #Bandipora. He was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment where he succumbed to death” the tweet read.

Terrorist outfits occupying Jammu and Kashmir have been recently targeting the migrant workers in their horrific terror acts lately. Just a few days ago, terrorists also attacked a tent that was housing labourers at the Gadoora village in Pulwama. In the same attack, they had killed another labourer hailing from Bihar as well. Two others were seriously injured in the grenade attack. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Mumtaz who was a resident of the Sakwa Parsa in Bihar.

Terrorists have risen up their attacks on migrant workers. The targeted killings of migrants are an evident result of the Modi government nullifying the Articles 370 and 35 (A) that had given the erstwhile state its special status in the past.
