Day is Celebrated to remember the Pride and Courage of Indian Armed Forces!


Top political leaders took to Twitter to pay homage to the heroes of Kargil war, as the nation celebrates Vijay Diwas on Tuesday, July 26.

PM Narendra Modi said, "Kargil Vijay Diwas is a symbol of pride and glory of Maa Bharati. On this occasion, my salute to all the brave fighter sons of the country who have proved their valor in the defense of the motherland. Jai Hind!"

President Drouadi Murmu said, "Kargil Vijay Diwas is a symbol of extraordinary valour, gallantry and determination of our armed forces. I bow to all the brave soldiers who laid down their lives to protect Mother India. All the countrymen will always be indebted to them and their family members."

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted in a row, “On Kargil Vijay Diwas, India salutes the bravery, courage and sacrifice of our armed forces. They fought valiantly in extremely harsh conditions to defend our motherland. Their act of valour & indomitable spirit will remain etched forever as a defining moment in Indian history.”

Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Kargil Vijay Diwas is a symbol of the indomitable courage and valour of the Indian Armed Forces. With their bravery, I salute the soldiers who raised the tricolour again after pushing out the enemies from Kargil.”

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to every fighter who laid down his life for the nation. "Showing their indomitable courage, our brave soldiers raised the flag of India's victory in the Kargil war. The army never allowed the tri-color flag to come under fire with its gallantry and valour," he tweeted.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said in Hindi, “On Kargil Vijay Diwas, I salute the bravery, courage and sacrifice of all the brave soldiers of the country. We are proud of our brave army and soldiers. Wishing everyone a very Happy Kargil Vijay Diwas. Jai Hind.”
