As per the information,  this measure will also be applicable to air passengers arriving from Kerala and they can choose the hotel of their choice, which has been designed for institutional quarantine, said the Karnataka Health Minister.

According to the report, the Health Minister said, "it has been decided at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Basavraj Bommai on Monday that travelers coming from Kerala, whether they have taken vaccines or have a negative RT-PCR test report, will have to stay in institutional quarantine. '' He also said, "The government may take even more stringent restrictions in view of the increasing number of Covid-19. "

Meanwhile, on Monday Kerala state reported 19,622 new Covid-19 cases and 132 deaths, which took the caseload to 40,27,030 and toll to 20,673.
