Karnataka withdraws Covid-19 night curfew

Night curfew was imposed due to the spike in Covid-19 cases in the state


On Friday, the Karnataka Government issued an order, withdrawing the night curfew from the state. The night curfew was implemented on July 3. It was also extended several times during the spike in Covid-19 cases. 

Several states have implemented the Covid-19 led night curfew due to the rise in cases of Covid-19.  Many states have withdrawn and many are continuing after witnessing the conditions. Also, India is witnessing a downfall in its Covid-19 count; the Covid-19 graph is declining in the Country.

 

As per the order, "Night Curfew which is being imposed from 10 pm to 5 an is herewith withdrawn." Adding more the order mentions," Horse racing is permitted to resume  strictly by following appropriate Covid-19 behaviour and SOPs issued by the health and family welfare Department." The number of Racing patrons attending horse racing shall be strict as per the seating capacity of the venue and only fully vaccinated people are permitted to the premises. 

Covid-19 cases were horrific during the second wave.  Many states have witnessed a harsh hit of the deadly Coronavirus.  The decision to ease night curfew came after the states are witnessing a downfall in their Covid-19 tally.

As per the Government data, Karnataka reported 29, 89, 275 cases out of which 8,267 are active , 30,095 have lost their lives due to the deadly virus and 29,42,884 have been recovered from Covid-19. Also, 6.58 crore vaccination jabs have been administered in the state.
