Lockdown In 7 Districts Of Assam

Assam government has announced lockdown in several districts due to covid-19


The Assam authority has introduced an entire lockdown in seven districts in which the positivity fees of COVID-19 instances are high. The authorities imposed a round the clock curfew in Goalpara, Golaghat, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, Biswanath and Morigaon because coronavirus instances in those districts has persistently gone up, Health and Family Welfare Minister Keshab Mahanta said. These regulations will come into effect from July 7 and would stay till further orders.

There may be a complete ban at the motion of all public and personal shipping in those districts. Goods cars may be allowed to perform.  All the workplaces, commercial enterprise and business establishments, shops, eating places and different eateries, bloodless storages, all warehouses may be closed until further order in those districts.

Fruits, vegetables, milk and dairy agencies may be allowed to open from five am until five pm each day in districts below general lockdown. All inter-district passenger shipping offerings will stay suspended. The authorities banned public gatherings inside districts which fall below the containment zones. Wearing of face masks is obligatory in public places.

Assam presently has 22,243 Covid cases  and the general positivity price stands at 2.37 % .
