Lucknow Building Collapse

3 died in the incident and 14 were rescued...


A residential building turned into debris because of a collision on Wazir Hasanganj road in Lucknow on Tuesday, due to the collision 3 people died on the spot, and others got injured. The dead bodies get recovered and sent to the hospital for the confirmation. However, 14 people have been rescued so far by the SDRF (state disaster response Force) and NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) teams.

According to the Deputy General of Police DS Chauhan, five people are still stuck in a room of the building and a rescue operation is undergoing, they have coordinated with the two people who are stuck in the building and all five people are in the same room.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak informed about the incident and mentioned that the police and fire brigade are also present at the spot.

As per the information received from the officials, the CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath took the insight into the incident and instructed the SDRF and NDRF team to reach the spot and begin the relief work. Along with rescue teams, many hospitals were also instructed to get alert for the proper treatment.
