Madhya Pradesh: Corona Curfew extended till 7th May

Lockdown extended in MP till May 7


Amidst rise in Covid-19 cases, Madhya Pradesh decided to extend its Corona  Curfew till May 7 to break the chain of Covid-19. Whereas an existing curfew is already taking place in several districts of the state including Bhopal, Indore and other prominent cities till 3rd May.

While addressing a video conference, Narottam Mishra Said that "Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided to extend the Corona Curfew till May 7. The District level crisis management committees are authorized to decide the Corona Curfew in Consultation with the state Government." Further he also added that, "The number of Covid-19 positive cases in 10 districts has reduced and these numbers are static in 13 other districts. He also talked about the oxygen tankers which reached the state in 2 days, he said "An oxygen express train carrying six tankers reached Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday ."

Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday reported 12,758 covid-19 cases the overall caseload in the state 5,38,165 and 105 deaths to the fatality count to 5,424.
