Many other states are speeding up with vaccination
On Monday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced three statewide vaccination campaigns as the state pushes towards 100 percent coverage of those eligible for jabs.
Madhya Pradesh chief minister tweeted that," we are committed to achieving 100 percent vaccination in the state by Dec 2021. A statewide vaccination campaign will be organized on Dec 8,15 and 22 for this purpose. "
The Chief Minister also thanked the health care workers and others involved in the vaccination drive. He tweeted that, "Delighted to inform you that we have succeeded in administering more than 9 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccination in the state. My heartfelt gratitude to health workers, social workers, voluntary organizations, members of CMG, and all those actively engaged in achieving this milestone " said the Chief Minister.
India witnessed 21 new cases of Omicron. The cases have led to speeding in vaccination drives and many other states including Uttar Pradesh have been speeding up with their vaccination drives.
According to the CoWIN dashboard 90,224,036 doses of the Covid vaccine, comprising 5,13,73,662 first and 3,88,59,365 doses of the second dose have been administered in Madhya Pradesh as of 12 pm in the day.
