Madhya Pradesh to launch a special vaccination drive to cover the population

Special vaccination Drive to begin from November 15


 On Saturday, The PTI agency said that the Madhya Pradesh Government will launch a special vaccination drive to inoculate the population.

 

 

 

While addressing in a meeting, Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan said the drive will be organised for the people who haven't been jabbed with the first dose and second dose.  Adding more the Madhya Pradesh Government is planning to remind the ones to inoculate themselves for the second dose. "Schools and college children should be included in the awareness campaign so that they can encourage their parents to get vaccinated.  Those people who got the first shot but didn't turn up for the second dose should be reminded by making phone calls through the call centre." Said the Statement. 


 

 

Meanwhile, India has achieved its target of inoculating 100 crore vaccination to the population.  It is a historic moment for India to achieve its vaccination target. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many leaders and ministers greeted India for its great achievements and also many other states have been running with their inoculation drives in their respective states.


Earlier Madhya Pradesh had held its mega vaccination drives in August and September.  Around 70 million doses were inoculated which took the overall caseload to 7,92,832. Whereas on Monday around 8 people have been tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus.
