Making Navratri special!

I don't have to prepare myself for Garba because Garba is in my blood and my family says Manish Joshi

Manish Joshi is a singer/Musician from Mumbai, a crowd puller, who attracts numerous and he has completed more than 2000 shows. Not only this, his Gujarati Garba songs are famous all across the world. He has covered many shows in Dubai,Europe, HongKong and many more places.

This Gujarati guy mesmerizes everyone with his voice and makes everyone dance in his soulful vocals and garba beat. Not only Mumbai he has covered many shows in the heart of Gujarat, Surat, Maharashtra's  Mumbai, Vapi, Rajasthan's  Udaipur and many more are in the list.

During the conversation, we came to know that he is just fond of music when asked about What excites you when you hear the word Navratri? He replied Navratri is the biggest festival, not only for a Gujarati but also for so many other Indians. The thing which excites me is just my music, my love for music. I feel so good when the crowd gets attracted to my music. Discussing how he prepare specifically for Gujarati Garba songs?  He said I don't have to prepare myself for Garba because Garba is in my blood and my family. We Gujaratis are born to listen to Garba. It is similar to a Punjabi who is fond of bhangra.

Next asked was how many shows does he do during the Navratri season? He said, he does a full-time 10-day Navratri show and PRE & POST Navratri shows which keep on going for a complete month.

Talking about the crowd, he replied by the grace of God I get a huge response from my shows whereas my crowd enjoys it. And almost every Navratri Garba fan knows MANISH JOSHI MJ & band. I just keep myself flowing into the music and I keep on going with my energetic level.

MJ started his first Navratri song in the year 2003. It's been such a long journey and suddenly due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic there's a forced stop to all the events and public gatherings are not permitted. He said Covid-19 time is the worst time for an artist because the entertainment industry suffers more than any other industry. He also released a few cover songs to keep that pop mode active, Meanwhile, he did some online shows to keep my family and fans entertained online and help them come out of that mental isolated environment. 

Mentioning the list of superhit songs of MJ; Dil diya gallan, Na tum jano na hum, (Gujarati song) jag re Malan jag are some famous numbers.

Talking about his new songs,  he said he is coming up with 3 to 4 songs soon of which one is patriotic and another is a love song in Gujarati, and the other one is a Navratri/ Garba song which he also hints will be trending soon..!! For this year he also mentioned that he is coming with something new that is a new concept for pre-wedding and corporate with some theme and dance.

Things sound so amazing, it is such a  creative effort for an artist to make his crowd dance. "Navratri has that energy to make you stand and dance"
