Man Trapped On Mountain In Kerala For Two Days, Gets Rescued By Indian Army

Several Attempts Failed To Rescue Him!


 Another scary incident took place In Kerala's Palakkad where a man was seen trapped in a hill between rocks for two days. 



According to the latest information, the man has been rescued by the Indian Army after two days.



The information stated that the Name of the rescued man is Babu he hails from Malampuzha and was trapped in a pocket of a steep hill since Monday and was rescued out today. Locals stated Babu along with two others had decided to climb the top of Cherad hill, but the other two abandoned the effort halfway. He tried to climb the top, but he slipped and after that, he was trapped between the rocks on the mountain face. Many other attempts were made to move him out but failed. Attempts including one by a coast guard helicopter following which the Indian army was called.



Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan had also intervened and had sought help from the Indian army to rescue him.



As per the information given by the coast guard in a release, it's said that the helicopter pilot had decided to hover the aircraft near the ridge of where the survivor was stranded. But, due to the topography of the terrain and various conditions, the helicopter was experiencing heavy downdraft and therefore the mission was aborted.



According to the reports given by the national disaster response force (NDRF )team was also attempting to reach the youth who appeared to be sitting in a small recess on the mountain face.
