The 48th match of IPL brought Mumbai Indians again on the top after their splendid win against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets. The match was a crucial one as it was laid between the top two teams of this season. The fans were delighted after this heartwarming win of Mumbai. Both teams forwarded their best on the field but at the end only one can make through it.

The Mumbai blues drove the fans crazy after their win in Sheikh Zayad Stadium. MI won the toss and sent RCB to bat. Royals, putting their generous legs forward, posted a score of 164 runs, giving a stiff cutting competition to Mumbai. But Mumbai didn't step a foot back and got back to them in less than 20 overs and won the match. The teams stunned the cricket maniacs with their astonishing performances.

Suryakumar Yadav, the Man of the match smashed 79 runs off 43 balls, mesmerising the audience with his undismissed play. His quick fire game unleashed 10 fours and 3 sixes out of his bat. His game stunned the supporters. In post match analysis he told meditation as his way to focus. Ishan Kishan slammed 25 off 19 giving a tough fight to Bangalore. On Bangalore's side Devdutt Padikkal also gathered 74 runs off 45 balls and played noticeably well. Although, his efforts didn't led the team to victory but he deserves a special mention.

Jasprit Bumrah emerged as the highest wicket taker uprooting 3 wickets making it difficult for RCB to cross 170. He amused the fans with his wonderful deliveries. Trent Boult, Rahul Chahar and Kieron Pollard took 1 wicket each. Mumbai's Skipper Pollard expressed his elation saying, "Surya played the major part. The momentum turned in our favour after the wicket of AB de Villiers by me. Team efforts paved us through this night."
