Theatres will be allowed to operate in high-rise residences, the centre announced in its updated coronavirus guide. Updated standard operating procedures (SOPs) provided during the steady decline in Covid daily numbers across the country, and allow for the reopening of public swimming pools.

"Up to theater halls and thealloters have already been approved by up to 50%. They will now be allowed to work in a higher residence, which the revised SOP will be issued by the Department of Information and Broadcasting in consultation with MHA (Department of Home Affairs)," a leading newspaper confirmed. Swimming pools were open to athletes for the past year, the center has now allowed everyone to use them. "Swimming pools will now be allowed to be used by all, from which the SOP reviewed by the Department of Youth and Sport (Air & S) will be released in consultation with MHA."

The institution's guidelines have also shown that it can increase the capacity allowed for meetings. "Social / religious / sports / sport / recreational / educational / cultural / religious gatherings have been permitted up to 50% of the hall, with a roof for 200 people in enclosed spaces; and to maintain the size of the space / viewing space, in open spaces. All types of advertising halls will be allowed, the center said, adding that there will be no restrictions on international travel.

The guidelines will be effective from February 1.
