Mumbai Man Forced to Lick Shoes

After being accused of spice theft…


Six people in Navi Mumbai were arrested for attacking a man accused of stealing spices from his workplace. They forced him to lick shoes, according to a police official.

 

According to an official from the APMC police station, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening.

 

On Thursday, it was reported that the man, who works at a trading shop in APMC, was attacked by Raunak Dayaljibhai Bhanushali, the owner of the trading firm, along with his staff members identified as Sanjay Chowdhary, Lalaji Babubai Pagi, Virendra Kumar Laxman Gautam, Yogesh, and Karan.

 

The man was accused of stealing cardamom. He was beaten, stripped, and made to lick Bhanushali's shoes. The incident was also recorded. Further investigation is underway, he added.
