Nagaland Government extends Covid-19 unlock-6 till September 30

Nagaland Government has extended Covid-19 unlock-6 till September 30 and has reopened schools for classes 5 to 10.


The cases of Covid-19 are fluctuating across the country as several states are witnessing an incessant increase in the cases while others are witnessing a downfall in the Covid-19 cases. 

Meanwhile, the Nagaland government extended Covid-19 unlock by two weeks from September 17 till September 30. It also relaxed a few things and reopened schools for classes 5 to 10. Meanwhile, 100 percent attendance will be permitted in all government offices which are subjected to appropriate Covid-19 behaviour in the office premises.  According to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the classes will run with 50 per cent capacity for classes 5 to 10 and urban area state schools will reopen for regular classes from October 1.

According to the statement,  the Nagaland government has also allowed tourists to travel to the state who have been fully vaccinated with doses of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, several states are issuing new guidelines and relaxing their unlock procedure after witnessing a slowdown in Covid-19 cases.
