Nasal vaccine coming soon, fear of injection will be lost

Animal trial of nasal vaccine complete, human trial will start soon.

Corona’s nasal vaccine is coming soon. Its human trial will be in AIIMS. After the success of the animal trial of the vaccine, now the possibility of getting a nasal vaccine has increased. If sources are to be believed, its phase-one and phase-two trials may begin soon. According to the information, Bharat Biotech has also signed an agreement with the University of Washington, USA for the nasal vaccine and the trial of this nasal vaccine in AIIMS may start soon. According to experts, the nasal vaccine may prove to be more effective than the currently offered intramuscular vaccine and may be given to younger children in the coming time.

Regarding this, former AIIMS director Dr. MC Mishra said that work is going on. It is expected that the trial of this vaccine will begin in the next few days. He said that if this vaccine comes, then our fight against pandemic will be better and vaccination can be done more quickly. At the same time, about this, Dr. Anshuman Kumar, director of Surgical Oncology of COVID-19 Expert and Dharamshila Cancer Hospital, said that we were very hopeful that the nasal vaccine will come, because the mechanism of coronavirus is effective, given that the use of nasal vaccine is effective.

When the polio vaccine came, it was initially in the form of an injection. But when the study showed that the polio virus reaches the nerve through the stomach and causes damage, then the polio oral. The vaccine was created so that it could be eliminated as soon as possible in the stomach. Doctor Anshuman said that Corona currently has an intramuscular vaccine, which is given in the muscle from where it goes into the blood and then produces antibodies. But if we understand the mechanism of the corona virus then it penetrates into the body through the nose or body. The doctor said that from where the virus enters, the nasal vaccine may prove to be better for making antibodies against it or preventing it. We also expected that the nasal vaccine would come in the future. He said that it has many advantages. At first the fear of injection will be completely overcome. That is, the risk of adversary effects of pain, stinging, etc. at the injection site will be reduced.
