National Highway-24 from Ghaziabad to Delhi re-opened

Keeping in view the convenience of the general public, the NH-24 route from Delhi to Ghaziabad has been opened. This route has been opened after consultation with the police officers of Ghaziabad district.


Relief news came on Monday morning amid protests at the Delhi-NCR border demanding the repeal of the three central agricultural laws. NH-24 route from Delhi to Ghaziabad has been opened. This has brought great relief to the drivers going from Uttar Pradesh via Delhi to Ghaziabad. Traffic here has been smooth for more than an hour. News agency ANI was quoted as saying that this decision has been taken by the Delhi Police in view of the current law and order situation on the Ghazipur border. According to Delhi Police, the NH-24 route from Delhi to Ghaziabad has been opened keeping in view the convenience of the general public. This route has been opened after consultation with the police officers of Ghaziabad district.

Due to the closure of this road, the drivers were facing a lot of trouble. Especially people had to go around to go to other districts of Uttar Pradesh from Delhi via Ghaziabad. Now this path has been opened.

With the opening of this route on Monday, people going from Delhi to Ghaziabad will surely get some relief. On the other hand, Singhu, Shahjahanpur, Ghazipur, Tikri, Piau Maniyari, Jharoda and Dhansa borders of Delhi-NCR have been completely closed for more than three months. Due to this people are facing a lot of trouble.

Earlier on March 2, Delhi Police had opened one lane of all the closed lanes from Delhi to Ghaziabad via Ghazipur border, but then closed again in the afternoon. Road from Delhi to Ghaziabad was closed by the Delhi Police on 26 January after the violence during the tractor rally. Farmers are still sitting on the road coming from Ghaziabad to Delhi, though their number is very less.

Meanwhile, the United Kisan Morcha has announced a Bharat Bandh across the country, including Delhi-NCR, on 26 March. During this, there is talk of keeping India closed for the whole day. Earlier, a 6-hour Bharat Bandh was announced
