On Monday the state government decided and declared to civil aviation that, the people coming to west Bengal should be having a certificate or a negative covid test report for both commercial and non-commercial flights. The decision has been taken with effective effect for the safety of West Bengal by West Bengal Home Secretary BP Gopalika.

According to the health department, no death took place in the city but the incident took place in Darjeeling and Paschim Medinipur due to different issues.
