On Tuesday Delhi reported 1,095 new Covid-19 cases and six fatalities, and the positivity rate was recorded at 22.74%, as per the data shown by the Delhi government's health department.
In the case of five fatalities, the primary cause of death was not Covid.
In Delhi the death toll from the virus has increased up to 26,606. However the total case tally is 20,35,156.
Of over 7,965 beds in the national capital hospital, 318 are occupied as the data showed.
On Monday the Health Department showed that only 689 corona cases were registered in Delhi and 3 people died, however, the number of patients increased rapidly on Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, almost 4815 people got the corona test done.
