New Delhi: Covid cases rises to 16.09%

National capital witnessed an increase of 14.37% positivity rate of Covid 19


Delhi: On Saturday 416 Covid cases were reported with positivity rate of 14.37%. Last week on Thursday 295 coronavirus cases was recorded with a positivity rate of 12.48%. 

 

On Wednesday, the national capital logged 300 cases and two deaths while the positivity rate was 13.89 per cent.

 

Delhi recorded 214 cases with a positivity rate of 11.82 per cent on Tuesday, 115 cases with a positivity rate of 7.45 per cent on Monday, and 153 cases with a positivity rate of 9.13 per cent last Sunday.

 

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday, the Delhi government is keeping an eye on the spurt in Covid cases in the national capital and is "prepared to face any eventuality".

 

Kejriwal also said, after addressing meeting on the Covid situation in Delhi, the city government was taking all required steps and there was no need to worry for now. 

 

Over last few days the national capital has witnessed an increase in the number of new Covid cases.
