No Salary Cut For Covid Positive Employees UP: Yogi Adityanath

Employees to get 7-day leave


On Monday, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath announced to restrict the attendance of employees in Government and private offices to 50 percent. 


According to the statement, the Chief Minister said, if any employee tests positive for COVID should get leave for seven days and his pay salary should not be deducted. He also said that Covid-19 help desks should be established in all the offices and no one should be given entry without screening.


The CMO statement read," To prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the CM has directed officials to implement 50 percent attendance of employees, except for essential services department, in both government and private offices and work from home should be encouraged."

 

Further, the CM ahead of the Uttar Pradesh election said, efforts should be made to achieve 100 percent vaccination against Covid keeping in mind the assembly polls beginning the Next month. He said, "In districts, which are going to polls, everyone should be vaccinated 10 days in advance and a plan in this regard should be chalked out immediately."


The Covid cases are rising gradually. One after another people are infected with the deadly virus. The rise in positivity rate is also concerning the population.

 

The Uttar Pradesh state reported 8,334 fresh cases of COVID in the last 24 hours. UP carries 33,946 active Covid cases out of which 33,563 are under home isolation, Said the data.
