Union Health Minister Dr.Harsh Vardhan said on Tuesday that the government's objective is to take yoga to every citizen, considering yoga is essential for health benefits for the people of the nation. In the inaugural ceremony of the Global yoga conference 2021, Dr. Harsh Vardhan addressed the Minister of state for defense Shripad Yesso Nayak. The event was organized by “Mokshayatan Yog Sansthan” along with the Minister of AYUSH and the Indian Council of Cultural studies to mark the occasional 7th International Day of Yoga which will be held on June 21, 2021.
In the statement of Dr. Harsh Vardhan spoke about global health and well-being through the practice of yoga which is effectively done by humans. Increasing in the practice of yoga worldwide, yoga is known for the beneficial practice which is added to the lifestyle of people across the nation. Moreover, he spoke about the current seranio related when the pandemic has affected both physical and mental health, majorly people stressing all over but doing daily yoga help them out in dealing with all the stuff, he adds. Besides, he spoke about the congregational activities which run up as International Yoga Day which have been muted to a global health emergency.
Talking about September 2014, when the International Yoga day was discovered by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the UN General Assembly , On 21 June was made as International Yoga Day, to raise awareness worldwide and to tell the importance of yoga in the health of people. Further, He talks about yoga works as mental peace in the contribution of giving relaxation in the pandemic, today as health is the more relevant prioritizing in giving the effective benefits to the human being well being .
