"Our party is always sensitive towards farmers": Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister on repealing of farm laws


Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is sensitive towards farmers and that's why the three Farm laws initiated by the Central Government have been repealed now. Minister called it "Our party is always sensitive towards farmers that's why our prime minister has repealed the farm laws "

As per the statement, the defence minister said, "our prime minister Narendra Modi demonstrated a large heart and Repealed the three Farm laws. He (PM) said that now our farmers are adamant and we have failed to convince them, we should not develop conditions where we are forced to fire bullets on them" further the minister added, "whatever may be, our government can't kill a farmer. We look at our farmers with respect and our heads are bowed to them." Said the minister.

 

The defence minister also said in seven years of governance in the country, BJP has not been involved in any kind of corruption " it's been 7 years, No one can point a finger at our leaders for involvement in corruption." Said the defence Minister.

 

Today, the farmers have completed one year mark of the farmer's protest. The farmers have been protesting for about a year for the three Farm laws implemented by the Central Government. The three Farm laws were passed in 2020. The farm laws repeal bill,2021seeks to repeal the farmer's trade produce trade and commerce (promotion and facilitation) act 2020. The farmers (empowerment and protection ( agreement and price assurance, farm services act,2020 and the essential commodities act (amendment) 2020.
