A person dies of Covid still has active corona virus in his body. Recently a 62 year old Patient who was diagnosed with the disease, later died was sent for the autopsy and after investigation his lungs were found as hard as the leather ball, in Karnataka.

With the on going research on the virus every patient is the research model, so was the 62 year old. On the first account, the virus were found in the nasal and the throat swab samples of the patient even after 18 hours.

"Hard as the leather ball with ruptured Air sacks and clots in the blood vessels",Dr. Dinesh Rao of Oxford Medical College Who was the one to perform the autopsy of the patient.

Dr. Rao head of the Forensic Department of Oxford said that this patients autopsy is leading us towards the progression of the disease, how bad the condition is now. The whole autopsy took approximately 1 hour 10 mins and was done on the 10 th of October and proper report was formed on Wednesday.

From the confirmed sources, it came to the knowledge that Rao took 5 swab samples from the cadaver’s nose, throat and mouth, lung surface, respiratory passages (trachea, bronchi) and skin on the face and neck. After testing him again with RTPC test he was found positive, so confirming that the dead patient can cause the infection. But it was astonishing that the skin was not tested positive.

The patients autopsy was done as per the consent of the family. When the patient died his family were in the home Quarantine or Isolation that's why wasn't able to identify or claim the body.

The doctor further stated that his conclusions and findings were different from that conducted in USA. So, most probably the virus strain in India is different from that in USA.
