"People think they can be a photographer only with Big cameras and I am here to prove them wrong"

Aman Sharma India's 1st photographer to get featured in Times Square, New York.

Aman Sharma is also known as an unplugged camera.  He is a traveller and a freelance travel photographer. Hailing from Meerut but his heart never stays in one place. He is just 22 and this young guy had just become India's 1st photographer to get featured in Times Square, New York.

According to him, it's very common to hear that photography is done with camera gears and lens but Aman is a phone photographer he says that phones are more portable and can capture moments in an extempore manner. A camera is expensive when taken with a lens and multiple gears. Whereas cameras are also prohibited at many places but Mobiles are not. Talking about the Times Square journey, he said that he went on a Hamptapass trek in Manali in Oct 2020. He was not well when he was on the trek, maybe because of weather change. He captured a picture there. which was not good but he posted it and decided to remove it after a while.  After a few months ( 3 months ) he was on a road trip to South India and in a cosy room of Munnar, Kerala, he received an email from Samsung USA that they wanted to feature his picture which was already deleted from online platforms. Aman was overjoyed and  said he had ever expected that people would consider this thing as a grand achievement. Whereas he also got support from many brands. People started noticing his work and skills. After which he started getting more projects during Lockdown. So, he says that he was also the one who was not struggling during the Lockdown.

When we asked Aman about his upcoming work, Aman said recently Samsung approached him to feature again for their next project with 88rising. We have also seen Aman's work on other platforms. He said his devprayag confluence video made him viral for the first time and brought him into limelight after which people started to consider him as their inspiration and started learning from him. He also gives classes in photography workshops where he teaches photography techniques.

Apart from photography, Aman is also passionate about street music. So he always loves to join street artists like musicians and performers.Aman loves to be around Alpine lakes and sometimes in beautiful streets where no one knows him and his language. Which makes him go more deep dive into travelling and capture those mesmerizing moments.
