Pfizer Chairman Unsure about Vaccine effects

Pfizer Chairman Says Unsure If Vaccinated People Can Or Cannot Transmit Virus

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla stated that it is yet not clear if the people who use his company’s vaccine for the coronavirus infection would transfer the virus to others in the community or not. He added that there are more requirements of studies and further research on this matter.

The vaccine was jointly created by Pfizer and BioNTech and they already made an official announcement last month that their vaccines were 95% effective. The experts and researchers who were not involved at the time of developing the virus have highlighted how the company’s trials and also other corona vaccine developing companies have not assessed the effect of the virus on the spreading of the COVID-19 infections. The answer to such questions will also depend on how the pandemic is dealt by the authorities after the arrival of the virus.

The USA’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is grouping independent experts on December 10 for the evaluation of the vaccine. The US will also decide if they will allow the vaccine to be used in their country.
