PM Modi to launch Development Project in Gorakhpur

Projects costs Rs 9,600 crore


On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a development project in Gorakhpur. The project costs Rs 9,600 crore. As per the information the project also includes the All India institute of medical sciences (AIIMS) and a fertilizer plant .He will inaugurate the new building of ICMR - Regional medical research centre (RMRC), Gorakhpur.



As per the information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gorakhpur on December 7 (today) and launch national development projects costing rupees 9,600 crores.



According to the statement, the AIIMS has been built for the cost of over rupees 1,000 crores. The foundation stone for the complex was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 22, 2016. PM Modi has taken this vision one step ahead through the announcement of setting up 15 AIIMS in different parts of the country in the last seven years.



As per the information given about the Gorakhpur fertilizer plant, this will make available 12.7LMT per annum indigenous Neem coated urea protection. It will help prove to be of immense benefit for the farmers of the purvanchal region and adjoining areas by meeting their demand for urea fertilizer. It will also boost the overall economic growth of the region.
