PM Modi to visit Jhansi tomorrow

To boost Atmanirbhar Bharat in the Defence sector


On November 19(Friday), Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jhansi. He will launch and dedicate to the National multiple initiatives. He will boost the Atmanirbhar Bharat in the Defence sector.

As per the information, Prime minister Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a Rs 400 crore project at the Jhansi node of Up Defence industrial area. He will also launch the NCC  Alumni association to reconnect the NCC. It will also launch the National program of simulation raining for NCC cadets. 

 

According to the press release, "to give a thrust to atmanirbhar Bharat in the defense sector, the prime minister will formally hand over indigenously designed and developed equipment to armed forces service chiefs. These include handling over Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) designed and developed light combat helicopters (LCH) to the chief of the air staff, army staff, DRDO of BEL. The LCH corporate advanced technologies and stealth features for effective combat roles. The deployment of Indian UAVs by Indian armed forces is also proof of the growing maturity of the Indian drone industry ecosystem. The advanced EW suite will be used in different naval ships including destroyers, frigates,etc." Read the release
