PM Modi will inaugurate redeveloped Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in MP today

Rani Kamlapati Railway station is to be the first world-class railway station in MP


New Delhi: According to Officials, PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Rani Kamlapati Railway Station on Monday (Nov 15).

 

Railway ministry said in a statement that During the visit to MP, Narendra Modi will also dedicate to the nation multiple initiatives of the railways in the state.


The redeveloped Rani Kamlapati Railway station is the first world-class railway station in Madhya Pradesh which is named after brave and fearless Queen Kamalapati of the Gond kingdom. This Railway station was formerly known as Habibganj railway station.

 

In the statement Officials said; “World-class facilities include the gauge converted and electrified Ujjain-Fatehabad Chandrawatiganj Broad Gauge section, the third line in Bhopal-Barkhera section, gauge converted and electrified Mathela-Nimar Kheri Broad Gauge section and electrified Guna-Gwalior section.”

 

It is Redeveloped in public-private partnership (PPP) mode for the first time, the station has been designed as a green building with modern world-class amenities which has also taken ease of mobility for the physically challenged into account.

 

PM Modi will also raise the green flag to two new MEMU trains between Ujjain-Indore and Indore-Ujjain, it said.

 

Further they said that the station is also developed as a hub for integrated multi-modal transport.
