PM Says Opposition Party Creating Panic Among Farmers

P.M. Modi accuses farmers of spreading confusion on Farm Bills


Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Kutch in Gujarat and meet farmers, he also stated that the government is in support of farmers and the Opposition is just misleading them.

Prime Minister of India led Narendra Modi visited to farmers in Gujarat's Kutch on Tuesday and stated that the Opposition parties is spreading fears and panic the farmers, and he also stated that the Government of India is always committed to farmer welfare and in support of protesters.

PM Narendra Modi emphasised that the, "The agriculture reforms that have taken place are exactly what farmer bodies and even Opposition have been asking over the years. The government of India is always committed to farmer welfare and we will keep assuring the farmers and addressing their concerns. He added that that the "Opposition parties, when they were in power, were in favour of these farm sector reforms but did not take any decision back then. Now when the country has decided to embrace these reforms, these people are spreading falsehood and misleading farmers. I want to reiterate that my government is ready 24 hours to resolve all your doubts," said PM Modi.
