Schools to be named after " veeranganas" like Jhalkari Bai
On Monday, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, if her party wins the Uttar Pradesh's assembly elections then the skill development schools will be reopened in every district of Uttar Pradesh in the name of Jhalkari Bai.
According to the tweet , she said, "salute to veerangana Jhalkari Bai. Congress has decided that if it forms the government in the state, skill schools will be opened in every district for girls in the Name of veerangana like Jhalkari Bai. Tweeted on the birth anniversary of the freedom fighter.
Priyanka Gandhi has. Already made several women-centric promises, which includes 40 percent tickets to females in Uttar Pradesh elections next year. All the 12 pass girls will be provided with smartphones. Women will be provided with electronic scooters if their party wins the Uttar Pradesh elections.
She has also promised a monthly ?10,000 for Asha and Anganwadi workers, who form a critical workforce for health and social welfare in the hinterland, a widow pension of ?1,000 per month, and 75 vocational schools.
