Delhi CM Expected to attend the wedding!

Punjab chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will marry today. According to the information,Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who is all set to tie the nuptial knot for the second time today (Thursday, July 7). The 48-year-old CM separated from his first wife in 2015 and he has two children from his first marriage.

The chief minister is getting married in a private ceremony. He will tie the knot with Dr Gurpreet Kaur, who belongs to Pehowa in Haryana's Kurukshetra," AAP's Punjab unit chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang told PTI over the phone on Wednesday. 

Only family members, including Mann's mother, sister, relatives, and a few guests will attend the wedding. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal is expected to be in attendance. Sources said that this marriage is an arranged one.

Senior AAP leader Raghav Chadha gave his best wishes to Mann and his would-be wife. "Best wishes to my 'vadde veer' (elder brother) Mann Saab and Dr Gurpreet Kaur for a happy and blessed married life," tweeted Chadha, who is a Rajya Sabha MP.

Dr Gurpreet Kaur belongs to Pehowa in Haryana's Kurukshetra and according to news reports, Dr Kaur has completed her MBBS from Maharishi Markandeshwar University at Mullana (district Ambala) in Haryana in 2018. She is currently working as a physician, as per news reports. In a TV interview, Raghav Chaddha said that Dr Kaur had campaigned for AAP earlier.
