Railways to restore services of Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express Special train from 26th June


Railway has decided to restart the service of the Special train from 26th June of Mumbai to Pune Deccan express, for the first time the train will also have Vistadome coach on this route.Now sitting in the vistadome coach, people can enjoy the view of Western Ghats as which was earlier enjoyable from the Mumbai-Goa route can now be experienced on Mumbai-Pune route also.

Recently, the Vistadome coach is running in Mumbai-Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Special train Moreover passengers can enjoy the beauty of nature from the train itself which includes hills and the rivers.The special feature of the train includes wide window panes and glass rooftop, rotatable seats and pushback chairs, etc. Besides, three AC Chair Car, 10 Second Class Seating, and one-second class seating cum guard’s brake van.

From the 26th of June daily, the Special Express train will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 7 am and will arrive at Pune at 11 am on a regular basis. The Special Express will stop at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Neral, Lonavala, Talegaon, Khadki, and Shivaji Nagar.The reservation process will begin from June 24 at all PRS centers and on the website at normal charges. Passengers with the confirmed tickets will be only permitted to travel.
