Rajasthan imposes weekend curfew

In Rajasthan curfew from Friday evening to Monday morning

Corona infection is continuously increasing in Rajasthan. The number of infection victims is increasing daily. Looking at the data of the last two days, 200 to 250 new patients are being received per hour.

In view of the fast-spreading infection, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a big decision on Thursday. The government has announced the imposition of Weekend Curfew in Rajasthan on the lines of Delhi. This curfew will be effective from 6 pm every Friday till 5 am Monday. That is, there will be a curfew in the entire state for 59 hours.

CM Ashok Gehlot has asked the officials of the police and district administration to strictly enforce the curfew and follow curfew and fixed guidelines. At the same time, by appealing to the public by tweeting, they should cooperate with the government in the cradle of Night Curfew in Rajasthan.

CM has written that vegetable, milk, LPG and banking services have been exempted during the curfew. Emergency services will continue as before. Apart from this, the three assembly constituencies and all the processes related to the by-elections on April 17 have been kept free from curfew.

Concerned about getting infected in all the districts of the state, the government has canceled the doctors' holidays. The curfew has been waived in the voting time for the by-elections to be held in three assembly constituencies Rajsamand, Sujangarh and Sahada assembly constituencies on Saturday.

District collectors have been asked to record the marriage ceremony. Action will be taken against the owner of the wedding venue if more than 50 people meet at any wedding ceremony. The bride and groom will also be challaned. Regional police station officials have been instructed to ensure the compulsion of 20 people to attend the funeral.
