Rajasthan police arrests 14 people who attacked Rakesh Tikait's convoy

Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU )leader Rakesh Tikait who has been leading the farmer's protest against the centre's three controversial farm laws for more than four months was attacked on Friday at the Tatarpur village of Alwar district. Tikait's convoy was on its way to Bansur from Harsora village where he had addressed a gathering, he was attacked. Rajasthan police had arrested 14 people who were in connection. 

According to the First information report(FIR), it was when people stopped his car and reportedly broke the window glasses of his car with sticks and threw black ink. The report said that the attack was made to snatch the weapons from the BKU state president Rajaram Meel.

Rajasthan's Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot tweeted that actions will be taken against the culprits and said that the way BJP handled the farmer's movement has been shameful since the beginning.

Later, after this attack on the BKU leader, farmers in Delhi /NCR showcased their aggression and blocked the Delhi -Uttar Pradesh Ghazipur border after which the traffic police cleared the blockade from the borders.
