On Friday, Aaj Tak news journalist Rohit Sardana is passed away due to heart attack, he also was tested positive for Covid-19. Many Union Ministers paid condolence over the demise of Sardana who was.

Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on social media that  “Pained to learn about Shri Rohit Sardana ji’s untimely demise. In him, the nation has lost a brave journalist who always stood up for unbiased and fair reporting". He also added in his statement that "May God give his family the strength to bear this tragic loss. My deepest condolences to his family and followers,” on twitter.
