Rotary Club promotes vaccination, help Covid orphans

The drive will be in continuous process till all the zone people get vaccinated.


In Chandigarh, members of the Rotary Club are helping the people to get vaccinated, till now 650  persons have been vaccinated under four medical camps, the camp has been specially organized for church sexton in the state.

In the statement of Mr. Jaspal Singh Sidhu said, the rotary team has organized such camps for the safety of people in the state, in preparing them for the third wave by providing them with the vaccination process, which is the only tool to save people against corona. The district governor Ajay Madan and Mr. Jaspal Singh Sidhu joined together in supporting the medical treatment. Moreover, the drive will be in continuous process till all the zone people get vaccinated. Masks, sanitizers, and refreshments are also distributed to each person in the vaccinated camps.

Meanwhile, medical supplies, food, and other essential stuff have been already provided to the needy in the time of lockdown.  A special committee has also been formed with a number of the members from the Rotaract club. In providing financial support to the EWS section people, especially the one earning person in the family. Several other projects like “Project Sahyog” also have been formed where the members have been encouraged in helping one disabled person with an artificial limb, where there is “Saketri Slum Project” helping the slum people for rehabilitation.

The Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta has provided the  theme of “serve to change lives” through which the members of Rotaract clubs are bringing change in the lives of the affected families, Sidhu adds.
