RSS Chief tests positive for Covid-19


Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat tested positive for Covid-19 and has been admitted to a hospital. According to the tweet by RSS "Our Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr Mohanji Bhagwat Ji has tested positive for Covid-19 this afternoon. He is currently having common symptoms of coronavirus and has been admitted to Kingsway Hospital in Nagpur. He is undergoing a general checkup and exercising caution".

On the 7th of March, Bhagwat and Suresh bhaiyyaji Joshi, General Secretary of RSS  administered their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at Nagpur's National Cancer Institute. 

Around 58,993 are the new Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra out of this 9,200 are the new Covid-19 cases of Mumbai.  India saw 1.31 Lakh new Covid-19 cases, this was the third-highest spike in cases.
