Security tightened at Shimla Railway station:Terror Threats

Securities have been tightened at Shimla Heritage Railway station.  According to the report given by News Agency ANI, it said, the authorities had received threats from terror organizations earlier this month naming temples and railway stations, including the Shimla Railway station. 

To avoid any type of activities the Shimla Railway authorities have taken the decision and have alerted the Police. 

According to the statement, Joginder Singh, Station superintendent of the Shimla said, a special meeting has been conducted with the different departments of the railway and took a decision to strengthen the security and the safety measures at the station. "Our security forces including Government railway police (GRP) and railway protection force (RPF). Are already on alert. In the meeting, we decided to push patrolling even more and regulate it in a better manner. We have decided to make people aware of reporting suspicious articles."

Strict checking is taking place at the railway station on the arrival of each train. With the arrival of the winter session, the tourist gathering speeds up in the hill station. The tourist attracting place ,Shimla is on high alert.
