Shane Warne Passes Away at 52!


The cricket fraternity is shocked by the demise of the Legendary Australian Spinner Shane Warne.  The Australian Spinner Passed away at 52. On Friday, He has suspected of a heart attack in Thailand.


Cricketers and the legendary players pay tribute to the Australian Spinner, one of the all-time greats of the game who redefined spin bowling, with Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar saying that he had "gone too young."


According to the Statement, Sachin Tendulkar paid his emotional tribute and said on the demise of the legendary spinner "Shocked, stunned & miserable.

 

Will miss you Warnie," Tendulkar, whose rivalry with Warne was the stuff of legend, said. Adding more he said, "There was never a dull moment with you around, on or off the field. Will always treasure our on-field duels & off field banter. You always had a special place for India & Indians had a special place for you. Gone too young!"


He was 52. He is survived by two daughters and a son.


According to the statement given by Brian Lara, West Indies cricketing legend Lara wrote: “And speechless at the moment. I literally don’t know how to sum up this situation. My friend is gone!! We have lost one of the Greatest Sportsmen of all time!! My condolences goes out to his family. RIP Warnie!! You will be missed.”


In his 15-year long international career, Warne picked up 708 wickets in 145 Test matches and 293 wickets in 194 ODIs. He took 195 wickets in Ashes outings alone and was a victor in seven series.

 

His final Test series was the home Ashes in 2006-07, where Australia thrashed England 5-0, in which Warne claimed his 700th wicket.
