On Tuesday the Sikkim government issued guidelines, lifting interstate travel restrictions ahead of the festive season. The Sikkim government has permitted this without producing any negative RT-PCR report or any vaccination authentication.

As per the notification,  the education department of the state said the students from lower KG to class 8 can now attend offline classes from October 18. Whereas only 50 per cent of students will be permitted on alternate days with the consent of their parents.
