Last Rights of PM Modi's Mother...

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mother, Smt. Heeraben Modi passed early Friday morning nearly at 3:39 AM in the hospital where she was undergoing for treatment at UN Heart Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, related to her age complications.

She was admitted on Wednesday after her health got worst and later the announcement was made by the hospital about her Decease. “Hiraben Modi passed away on 30/12/2022 at 3.30 am during treatment at U N Mehta Heart Hospital”, hospital said.

She lived with PM Modi’s younger brother Pankaj Modi at Raysan village near Gandhinagar. PM Modi visited his village and spend time with his mother during his visit to Gandhinagar.

PM Modi reached Ahmedabad on Friday morning for the last rites of his mother who passed away at the age of 100. After paying his final respect to his mother, PM Modi carried his mother mortally to the crematorium.

Early today, PM informed about his mother’s death and posted a heartfelt tweet,”A glorious century rests at the feet of God... In Maa, I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values."

PM Modi further added that when he met his mother on her 100^th birthday, she told him “work with intelligence and live life with purity”. He also mentioned that he will attend his meeting on programs in west Bengal via video conference.
