Sonia Gandhi hospitalised with Covid complications

Congress says the condition stable!


Amid Covid-19 many Covid people are again getting contracted with the deadly virus. Sonia Gandhi is hospitalized with Covid situation. Whereas she is stable, says the congress.



Congress interim president, Sonia Gandhi, has been admitted to Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi with Covid complications. She is reportedly stable and will be kept at the hospital for observation.



She tested positive for Covid on Wednesday, June 1. She was asked to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on June 8 but sought a different date, following which she was asked to appear on June 23.



The ED has registered an FIR in a money laundering case pertaining to the National Herald-AJL case.



The All India Mahila Congress issued a tweet saying, “Wish the respected Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji a very speedy and full recovery. This is the prayer of lakhs of Congress workers.”




General Secretary, Indian National Congress, Randeep Singh Surjewala, also tweeted that she would keep under observation in the hospital.



Congress President, Smt. Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Ganga Ram Hospital today owing to Covid-related issues. She is stable and will be kept at the hospital for observation. We thank all the Congress men & women as also all well wishers for their concern and good wishes,” he said on Twitter.



Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot too expressed his concern regarding Sonia Gandhi's health. He said, "Concerned about the health of Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji as she has been admitted to Ganga Ram Hospital today owing to Covid related issues. I wish her speedy recovery and pray for her good health."



Many other ministers and chief ministers expressed their concern over the health of Sonia Gandhi.
