Tamil Nadu Government Removes Night Curfew In The State

Schools to Re-open From Feb 1


The Tamil Nadu Government is all set to remove the COVID-led night curfew from the state. The Government also permits the Reopening of schools across the state from February 1. 



As per the information, the Night curfew in the state takes place from 10 pm to 5 am and this withdrawal will take place for January (30). The decision was taken by the chief minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin and the meeting was also attended by States health Minister Ma Subramanian, chief secretary V Irai Anbu and other officials.



This decision has been taken considering the further livelihood of people, students, and the daily economy. The Covid has impacted daily livelihood badly. Even arranging two squares of the meal has become like a worship for many all across the country. The social, cultural, and political gatherings will remain restricted in the state. Also, people have been asked to follow appropriate behavior for Covid-19 during the urban local polls.

 

 A maximum of 100 people will be allowed to participate in marriages, while 50 will be permitted for funerals. Textiles and jewelry showrooms have been asked to ensure that the customers are not exceeding 50 percent of the total capacity. Clubs, gyms, yoga centers, multiplex/theatres, indoor auditoriums, beauty parlors/saloons, and spas can operate at 50 percent capacity. Amusement Parks, excluding water sports, can also run at 50 percent capacity. People staying in containment zones will be allowed to move out only for essential activities.
