Uttarakhand Schools Opened After Seven Months
Government schools of Uttarakhand opened after 7 months. The classes for 11-12 in Uttarakhand will begin from today.
The school education department has made all the preparations to open a school to ensure social and physical distance.
According to Dehradun district chief education officer, Asharani said that "inspections by all block education officers have been conducted in all schools to ensure that all protocols of sanitization, availability of Mask, social distancing norms are in place".
All inquiry has been carried out and we are pleased with the arrangements made by the school, only one private boarding schools opening in Dehradun as of now and many others are still anticipating, consent from parents for sending the students to school is mandatory, all other arrangements have been made classrooms usually have an Occupancy of 40 students of which maximum 20 students will only be allowed to sit for schools with more number of students shift system to avoid crowding.
"Administration will have to follow many conditions that comprise of sanitization of school premises before and after the class is daily and frequently arrangements will be made in school for sanitizers, hand wash, thermal screening, first aid, and if in case any teacher or students shows covid symptoms they will be immediately sent home with proper social distancing" wearing of face mask by all the students and teachers is mandatory. Uttarakhand government has also mentioned that schools will have to follow the guidelines of the SOP and are not responsible and students test positive for covid-19 after the class resume said by the Standard operating procedure (SOP).
President of principles progressive School Association, Prem Kashyap said that a private school body in Uttarakhand around 200 private schools in the whole state will be open from Monday few schools will be reopened after Diwali different schools have different dates to ensure that they make arrangements for following all the guidelines mention in the SOP of the state government
