Anthony Fauci has said that India is suffering from the havoc of Corona and the world should help the country. He said that there is scarcity of oxygen, PPE kits and other equipment in India. Fauci said that vaccination is the only way to overcome this catastrophe.

Anthony Fauci, the chief medical adviser to US President Joe Biden, said that the only solution to India's coronavirus tragedy is widespread vaccination. He said that other countries of the world should help in this.

America's largest infectious disease specialist, Dr. Anthony Fauci, has said that India is suffering from the havoc of the coronavirus pandemic and that other countries of the world should volunteer to help. Fauci said that India is struggling with hospital beds, lack of oxygen, PPE kits and other medical equipment and countries like the US should help. He said that the only long-term cure to overcome this catastrophe is large-scale vaccination of people.

Dr. Fauci's statement came at a time when according to official figures on Saturday, 4,000 people died due to this pandemic. He emphasized on increasing the production of anti-Covid vaccines domestically and internationally to deal with this deadly disease. Fauci said in an interview to ABC News, "People should be vaccinated to completely end the pandemic."

Fauci said that India is the largest vaccine producer in the world. They are getting their supplies, not only from within, but also from outside. He said, "This is why other countries should either help India to manufacture vaccines at their place or donate vaccines." In response to a question, Dr. Fauci said that India instantly needs to build a temporary hospital, just like China did about a year ago.

He said, 'You have to do this. You cannot abandon people in the streets when there is no bed in the hospital. Oxygen conditions are extremely critical. I mean it is really heart-breaking for people not to get oxygen. ' Fauci said there are instantaneous problems with hospital beds, oxygen, PPE kits and other medical supplies. He also emphasized the need for nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus.
